We enjoyed meeting and speaking with you tonight at L'Absinthe, and thank you for accommodating us as walk-ins on a very busy night. I was delighted to--yet again--tuck in to L'Absinthe's tasty and juicy beef and lamb burger, one of the best in town.
See you soon, Reggie and BoyReggie Darlinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04044215790585354363noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8044541580633294348.post-43679776410296053182010-02-12T22:53:57.540-05:002010-02-12T22:53:57.540-05:00This is such a great blog! I shall have to visit sometime.

On a different note, one of the reasons that Absinthe no longer has the effect that it is famous for is that the Wormwood (a hallucinagenic root) which used to be an ingredient, has been banned from Absinthe in many western countries. There are still many places in mainland Europe that serve it. I know a great little place in Prague...

David :-)Lord Cowellhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08022567039394790375noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8044541580633294348.post-37409158928492486842010-02-01T12:46:31.146-05:002010-02-01T12:46:31.146-05:00Mmm, oysters, sole meuniere, gougeres and profiter...Mmm, oysters, sole meuniere, gougeres and profiteroles? Great review, I look forward to dining there when I get back to NYC, which will hopefully be soon!Butlerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10336364393641964718noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8044541580633294348.post-83989896765223244442010-01-31T22:18:32.426-05:002010-01-31T22:18:32.426-05:00The food was divine and so was the gossip.

Looks perfect. One thing, if you'd ever like to branch out in your gin experience, I recommend Junipero. Made by the people who produce Anchor Steam beer. Tastes like juniper berries. Really delicious for martinis with olives...http://bit.ly/dllcd2LPChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18209861350905135093noreply@blogger.com
